- Use a lubricant with PTFE (Teflon) – for example GreenteQ. It is liquid, penetrates fully into the mechanism, evaporates within a few hours leaving only a Teflon coating, which does not attract dust and lasts up to 1.5 years.
- Only for external points. Oil-based aerosols found in shops are suitable for hinge bolt heads and key holes. Do not spray them inside the fitting mechanism: the oil base attracts dust, and within 2–3 months a thick sticky mass forms, making the mechanism even harder to move.
- With a PTFE lubricant like GreenteQ – once a year or less. With oil-based lubricants, theoretically every 2–3 months, but in practice they make the problem worse. We recommend professional cleaning and lubrication once per season – especially before winter.
- Yes, the initial inspection and our technician's visit to assess the work are completely free. No hidden fees and no obligations. If you decide to go ahead, the technician will prepare a clear quote on the spot, explain everything to you and, if you agree, can usually do the work right away during the same visit.

- Repair is cheaper, because you don't have to buy new windows, remove the old ones, dispose of them or redo the interior finishes afterwards. Repair saves both time and money and is significantly more cost‑effective.
