Terms and conditions for services provided by MB Langmita

2. Nature of Goods and Services

Services Provided

MB "Langmita" provides sales, installation of windows, doors, roller shutters, blinds and other products, as well as window and door repair services. Work is carried out according to the "order form-invoice" instructions, using the company's workforce, materials and/or trusted subcontractors. The Customer undertakes to accept the completed work and pay for it.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

Pricing

Prices displayed on the website are indicative ("from"). The exact price is determined during the visit, taking into account the scope of work and individual needs. The Customer pays an advance according to the contract or "order form-invoice".

Payment Methods

Available payment methods: • Cash • Bank transfer according to the invoice • Contactless card payment

Payment Deadlines

The Customer may pay the full amount before signing the handover-acceptance certificate. Late payment is subject to 0.05% penalty interest for each overdue day. If hidden defects are discovered, the price may change only by mutual agreement.

4. Delivery of Services and Goods

Work Completion Deadlines

Work is completed within no more than 40 working days (usually much faster) from the first payment date, unless otherwise agreed.

Customer Obligations

The Customer must provide suitable conditions for work to be carried out and submit necessary permits.

Work Acceptance

Completion of work is confirmed by signing the handover-acceptance certificate. Before signing, the Customer may inspect the quality of goods and work.

5. Right to Withdraw from the Contract

Withdrawal Right

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract, if the contract is concluded outside business premises or remotely, as provided for in Article 6.22810 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania (e.g., at the customer's home). If the contract is concluded at MB "Langmita" administrative premises or other business premises, the 14 calendar day withdrawal right does not apply.

Return Conditions

Since MB "Langmita" does not sell goods online and provides individually tailored services, the return method is not standardized. The consumer must contact MB "Langmita" before returning to coordinate details, including time and place.

Return Costs

If the goods can be returned by post or other standard method, costs are borne by the consumer. If the goods or service, due to their nature, cannot be returned by standard means (e.g., individually tailored products), the return method is coordinated between the consumer and MB "Langmita", and reasonable costs related to material use or work are borne by the consumer.

Withdrawal After Service Commencement

According to Article 6.22811 of the Civil Code, if the consumer withdraws from the contract after the service has commenced or individually tailored products have been prepared, the consumer must pay MB "Langmita" reasonable costs related to work performed or materials used. Before withdrawing from the contract, the consumer must contact MB "Langmita" regarding the return or service cancellation conditions.

6. Warranties

Commercial Warranties

Installation and repair work: 3-month commercial warranty from the date of signing the handover-acceptance certificate. Parts: 12-month commercial warranty.

Statutory Liability

For new goods (natural persons): 24-month statutory liability for product defects applies under the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Consumer Rights Protection Act. The commercial warranty is supplementary and does not limit or revoke consumer rights established by Lithuanian law.

Manufacturer Warranties

For certain products or their components, manufacturers may provide additional (longer-term) warranties. In such cases, the warranty conditions and terms set by the manufacturer apply. Upon the client's request, MB "Langmita" provides the manufacturer's warranty documents and contact details needed for direct warranty service inquiries.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not apply if defects arose due to improper use, mechanical damage, actions of third parties, or intentional actions. MB "Langmita" provides technical maintenance after the warranty period expires under a separate agreement.

7. Complaints and Claims

Submitting Claims

Complaints and claims can be submitted in writing or by email: info@langu-remontas.lt, info@langmita.lt The claim form is provided within 3 working days of receiving the inquiry. Claims are reviewed within 14 calendar days.

Dispute Resolution

8. Durable Medium for the Contract

Data Storage

All order data and contracts are provided to the consumer on a durable medium (PDF, email, or other digital format). This ensures that the consumer can review, store, and reproduce the information in its unchanged form.

9. Deposits and Financial Guarantees

Application of Deposits

Deposits or other financial guarantees apply only if provided for in the contract. If not applicable, it is clearly stated: "Deposits are not used".

10. Minimum Contract Duration

Duration Period

If the contract provides for a minimum validity period, it is specified in the contract or order sheet.

11. Automated Decision-Making

Price Determination

If prices are determined automatically, the consumer is informed about this. If not, it is clearly stated: "Prices are not determined automatically".

12. Data Processing

Personal Data Protection

All customer data is processed in accordance with GDPR and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The consumer may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

13. Force Majeure

Force Majeure Circumstances

In force majeure circumstances, the parties are not liable for non-performance of the contract in accordance with the Civil Code.
